Housekeeping operations
- Inspect rooms, public areas, and pool areas after housekeeping service to ensure quality standards.
- Verify room status, identify unsuitable rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update statuses for departing guests.
- Coordinate housekeeping work with engineering, front desk, and laundry teams.
- Document and resolve room issues with the front desk; report unresolved issues to the next team.
- Prepare and communicate assignment-sheet and schedule changes; complete administrative tasks.
Team support and safety
- Assist housekeeping management with daily operations and support hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, and motivation of employees.
- Follow safety and security procedures, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications.
- Protect confidential information and company property, support colleagues respectfully, and follow quality standards.
- Use workplace computers and point-of-sale systems, communicate courteously, and respond appropriately to guest and employee concerns.
Recommended qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
- At least one year of related work experience is recommended.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is recommended.
- No license or certification is specified; the description separately calls for required safety training and certifications.
Physical demands
The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, handling equipment, and working on stairs or uneven and confined surfaces.
Move items up to 25 kg without assistance and heavier items with assistance; push and pull loaded housekeeping carts.
