Leads civil and structural engineering activities for solar PV power plants, from pre-bid engineering through commissioning and operations and maintenance.

Engineering delivery and coordination
- Lead design engineers and draughts persons to deliver work within budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Deliver drawings and documents to the project schedule; review design drawings, calculations, sizing, and vendor deliverables.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary checks across civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, MEP, and other teams.
- Estimate and plan man-hours, manage multiple deliverables, review BOQs, and provide technical clarifications.
- Evaluate vendors against client specifications, submit validation documents, and inspect equipment from selected vendors.
- Collect project inputs such as soil reports, boundary coordinates, and topographic surveys; coordinate design specifications and approvals.
- Support site execution with design clarifications and review electrical and instrumentation vendor drawings.
Design scope
- Design deliverables include module mounting structures, general arrangement drawings, control and inverter room civil and structural drawings, and solar plant civil infrastructure.
- Technical scope includes buildings, transformer and outdoor equipment foundations, grading, roads, drainage, outdoor steel structures, and related works.
Qualifications and experience
- B.E. or B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10–12 years of experience, including design work for Solar PV Power Plants or Power Distribution Projects.
- Technical expertise in civil and structural engineering for solar power plant facilities.
- Ability to interpret contractual technical requirements and support project teams.
