Role purpose
The MV Cabling Engineer handles engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and quality control for medium-voltage cable systems.
Systems support solar PV plants, BESS facilities, substations, and grid interconnection infrastructure.
The role supports safe, timely delivery in compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Required experience: 4–6 years.
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Technology (BTech).
- Listed knowledge area: Electrical Engineering Construction.
Key responsibilities
- Review IFC drawings, cable routing layouts, trench details, cable schedules, and BOQs.
- Prepare method statements, work procedures, risk assessments, and installation plans.
- Supervise installation of MV cables at 11kV, 22kV, 33kV, and above as applicable.
- Monitor cable laying, pulling, dressing, tagging, cleating, and protection activities.
- Ensure compliance with project QA/QC plans and HSE requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
