The engineer will work within L&T Construction Group's Precast Works Competency Centre, focused on precast capability, quality, safety, efficiency, and innovation.

Qualifications and experience
- Minimum qualification: Master of Engineering (ME).
- Required experience is listed as 1–8 years.
- Structural analysis design is listed under skills and knowledge.
Design and delivery
- Build structural system and framing proposals; develop precast concepts and verify design philosophy.
- Complete preliminary and detailed LLRS design using construction-friendly approaches.
- Prepare budgetary design BoQs and present proposals to internal and external clients.
- Review designs and detailing of elements and connections, and assess building and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure accuracy, standardization, and structural integrity during permanent and construction phases.
Analysis, research, and site work
- Model precast elements for permanent and temporary design, including connections, moulds, and lifting devices.
- Research precast applications, evaluate modern materials and methods, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
- Develop test programs and analyze and review reports to improve design efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Visit project sites to understand challenges and assess adopted solutions; pursue continual design and execution improvements.
