Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for renewable energy projects.
- Ensure the quality of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, cables, switchgear, BESS equipment, and other project materials.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, ITPs, Quality Plans, and method statements.
- Conduct incoming material inspections, supplier quality assessments, factory inspections, and FAT.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, procurement, engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and verify compliance with approved specifications, codes, and standards.
- Identify, document, and resolve NCRs, implement CAPA, and perform root cause analysis.
- Conduct supplier audits, quality inspections, and product performance assessments.
- Verify material test certificates, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable IEC, ASTM, and other industry standards.
- Monitor product defects, failure trends, reliability issues, and supplier performance, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, audit findings, and project quality documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree.
- 5 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Management, and Product Development.
