The Senior Analyst (Process) supports strategic and operational initiatives across the trade lifecycle, from pre-deal to settlements.
The role drives the Target Operating Model and continuous improvement and supports timely adoption.

Role purpose
The MTE team facilitates transformation and efficiencies across market access, people, processes, and systems for commercial and operating priorities.
The Senior Analyst (Process) supports strategic and operational initiatives across the trade lifecycle, from pre-deal to settlements.
The role drives the Target Operating Model and continuous improvement and supports timely adoption.
Experience and skills
- At least 8 years of commodities-trading work experience with leading IOCs, trading houses, NOCs, or vendors in change, process, and technology.
- Hands-on process knowledge, including creating data process maps and operational procedures.
- Front-to-back trade lifecycle experience and specialization in an area such as physical trading, cargo growth, or portfolio optimisation.
- End-to-end knowledge across commodities trading, shipping, and finance is required.
- LNG experience is an advantage.
Systems and methods
- Planlogic EOS, Veson Nautical IMOS, or SAP product knowledge is an advantage; Openlink, Allegro, or Salesforce are preferred alternatives.
- Practical experience with agile frameworks, PMP, or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills are required.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in a numerate, finance, or technology subject from an internationally recognized university is required.
- An MSc, PhD, or MBA is an advantage.
Change and process delivery
- Support strategic and operational initiatives across the trade lifecycle from pre-deal to settlements.
- Drive the Target Operating Model, continuous improvement, and timely adoption.
- Contribute to strategic roadmap delivery and manage operational change priorities through robust change frameworks.
