Lead brownfield modifications and decommissioning for the Bul Hanine Redevelopment Project.
Support construction engineering, fabrication, offshore mobilisation, and multidisciplinary work across the PS3 complex and wellhead platforms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown work.
- Ensure compliance with approved scope, AFC drawings, engineering design requirements, and QatarEnergy safety, environmental, and technical standards.
- Interface with the Assistant Manager Construction, Asset Holder, contractor, and Senior Construction Supervisors.
- Guide supervisors and contractors to follow approved procedures and drawings and meet schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 15 years supervising brownfield modifications, weight-shedding, decommissioning, and offshore hook-up projects.
- Hands-on multidisciplinary pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown experience on live production and wellhead platforms.
- Offshore Oil & Gas EPIC execution experience, including contractor deliverable review and contractor control.
- B.Sc. in Engineering or Construction Management, or the stated equivalent engineering/petroleum engineering qualification, plus relevant safety, quality, and construction courses.
Additional requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English; computer literacy; good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness.
- Ability to review method statements, inspection and test plans, schedules, and drawings; identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Ability to supervise a multinational, multicultural contractor workforce.
- Company Site Representative experience is an added advantage.
