Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Clinical and communication services
- Educate and train families, caregivers, and other professionals, and collaborate with professionals across disciplines.
- Provide aural rehabilitation for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Provide AAC systems for people with severe expressive or language-comprehension disorders, including some people with autism spectrum or progressive neurological disorders.
- Support communication enhancement, such as accent modification, for people without speech, language, or swallowing disorders.

Speech disorders can involve speech-sound production, fluency, voice, or resonance.
Language disorders can affect receptive or expressive language, spoken or written, including form, content, or functional use.
Social communication disorders affect verbal or nonverbal communication in social contexts and may occur with autism or other conditions such as traumatic brain injury.
Cognitive-communication disorders can affect organization, attention, memory, planning, or problem-solving, and may follow stroke, traumatic brain injury, or dementia or be congenital.
Dysphagia involves feeding and swallowing difficulties that may follow illness, surgery, stroke, or injury.
Requirements and qualifications
- Two years of UAE hospital or medical-center experience is required.
- Arabic is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A DOH license is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1.00 per month.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person in Al-Ayn.
