Ensure the medical center complies with applicable UAE laws, healthcare regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Monitor compliance, maintain documentation, coordinate audits, identify risks, and support continuous improvement across the facility.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and DOH and other authority requirements.
- Monitor healthcare professionals' license, permit, and certification validity and renewals.
- Maintain compliance records, policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and close audit findings on time.
- Monitor staff compliance and conduct checks to identify risks and improvement needs.
- Prepare compliance reports and provide findings and recommendations to management.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive action plans.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and data protection documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate regulatory matters with HR, Quality, Operations, and other departments.
- Help update policies and procedures; monitor regulatory document submissions and renewals.
- Report significant compliance issues and recommend corrective action.
- Support staff awareness and training on compliance requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Experience in compliance, quality assurance, healthcare administration, or a similar role.
- UAE healthcare regulations and DOH knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Compensation
