The Sommelier supports the guest experience and wine service at ROKA.
ROKA is a contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurant brand and part of the Azumi collection.
Key responsibilities
- Help guests select wines to complement meals, considering guest preferences and restaurant offerings.
- Present and serve wine, open bottles, decant when needed, and explain food pairings.
- Track wine stock, restock the cellar, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Maintain quality and consistency in guest service.
- Work with the Head Sommelier, bartenders, and Front of House to support smooth wine service and guest satisfaction.

- Proven experience as a Sommelier in a luxury high-volume restaurant or similar.
- A genuine love for culinary experiences and a passion for Japanese cuisine.
- Ability to work in sync with a large team.
