Solutions Architect - AI and Cloud / LLMs / Large Language Models / MLOps

A technology organisation with a strong AI and cloud platform focus is looking for a Solutions Architect to join its pre-sales team in Qatar.

This is a customer-facing, technically hands-on role sitting at the intersection of sales engineering and solution design, requiring both the depth to engage credibly with engineering teams and the communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will help translate customer requirements into scalable, robust AI-powered architectures, covering everything from initial engagement and proposal writing through to live product demonstrations and deployment design.

What you will be doing

Day-to-day you will work closely with partners and customers to understand their needs, craft technical proposals, respond to RFPs and tenders, and run independent product demos.

You will design and present solutions spanning cloud, on-premise, sovereign, and hybrid deployment models, drawing on strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP alongside their native AI and ML services.

On the infrastructure side, you will size GPU environments for LLM inference and training workloads, benchmark and evaluate LLM performance across accuracy, latency, and throughput dimensions, and work with MLOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines, orchestration frameworks such as Kubeflow and MLflow, and containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with LLM inference stacks including vLLM, llama.cpp, and OpenVINO, and model formats such as ONNX and HuggingFace, is central to the role.

Hands-on coding in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face, will support your day-to-day delivery.
