Role overview

Architecture and delivery

• Design end-to-end Dynamics 365 architectures and translate business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead solution design, technical implementation, deployment, and go-live for enterprise-scale projects.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in X++, C#, Dynamics 365 customizations, extensions, and development frameworks.

Integrations and data

• Design integrations using REST APIs, OData, Business Events, Dual-write, custom services, and virtual entities.
• Use Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management for reliable, scalable integrations.
• Oversee data migration strategy and execution using DMF/DIXF.

Operations, security, and modernization

• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize batch jobs, database operations, queries, APIs, and integrations.
• Establish production support, incident management, monitoring, and performance optimization practices.
• Define security architecture using Dynamics 365 roles, duties, privileges, XDS, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Drive application modernization, One Version updates, release management, and technical debt reduction.

Tools and collaboration

• Use Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to extend Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Manage technical documentation, architecture reviews, development standards, and Azure DevOps CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and developers; mentor technical consultants and developers.

Required experience and expertise

• 10+ years in application development, technical architecture, or enterprise systems delivery; 5+ years in Dynamics 365 solution architecture or lead technical architecture.
• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O, SCM, Commerce, and/or CE architecture; experience leading implementations through deployment and go-live.
• Hands-on X++, C#, Dynamics 365 extensions, and customization frameworks; strong architecture and technical design knowledge.
• Expertise in enterprise integrations using REST APIs, OData, custom services, Business Events, Dual-write, and virtual entities.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, DMF/DIXF, Power Platform, Dynamics security, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, LCS, PPAC, and deployment strategies.
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, hospitality, or supply chain; large-scale Dynamics 365 implementations and complex integrations are advantageous.
• Exposure to Microsoft FastTrack or Microsoft Support, One Version updates, upgrades, cloud transformation, or modernization of legacy customizations is advantageous.
