Oracle Techno Functional Finance Consultant

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead techno-functional design and delivery for Oracle Fusion Financials, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, as well as Procurement.
• Drive the implementation roadmap and post-implementation change portfolio, including enhancements, quarterly releases, regression testing, and controlled deployments.
• Lead EBS-to-Fusion migrations, including strategy, FBDI data conversion, reconciliation, and coexistence planning.
• Own cutover runbooks, rehearsals, go/no-go criteria, downtime management, and go-live coordination.
• Lead hypercare, stabilization, war-room support, defect triage, knowledge transfer, and transition to steady-state support.
• Translate requirements into configurations and technical designs; perform fit-gap analysis and favor standard solutions before customization.
• Build integrations, extensions, and reports using OIC, VBCS, BIP, OTBI, and FBDI.
• Manage production support governance, incidents, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven resolution for Finance and Procurement.
• Evaluate Oracle Fusion AI features for Finance automation; engage stakeholders, manage vendor deliverables, mentor team members, and safeguard data integrity.

Must-have qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle Fusion techno-functional consulting experience with a strong delivery record.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement experience, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Procurement.
• Technical proficiency in VBCS, OIC, BIP Reports, OTBI, and FBDI imports.
• Production support experience, including incident management, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven resolution.
• EBS-to-Fusion migration experience, including data migration, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live execution.
• Post-implementation hypercare experience, including stabilization, defect triage, incident surge management, and transition to steady-state support.
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EBS, including migration or coexistence scenarios.
• At least two end-to-end Fusion implementations covering design, build, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to engage stakeholders and drive work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Preferred experience

• Oracle AI Agent Studio and embedded Fusion AI/ML capabilities are advantageous.
• BICC, ADF, Spring Boot, and JavaScript or TypeScript experience are advantageous.
• Retail or multi-entity, multi-currency experience and Redwood UX personalization exposure are advantageous.
• Oracle Cloud certifications in Financials or Integration are preferred.
