Team and Role

How You Will Make an Impact

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer challenges and make data-informed decisions.
• Design, test, code, and instrument new solutions.
• Drive TDD, BDD, microservice, and vertical slice engineering practices.
• Support live applications through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze systems and processes for bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Mentor engineers and foster continuous learning.
• Lead technical initiatives and make decisions on methods and approaches.
• Use OKRs to hold the team accountable for quality results.
• Interact with Senior Managers about plans, results, and complex matters.

Experience You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and/or React.
• Experience with REST APIs, unit testing, software security, Git, CI/CD, and Agile development.
• Experience delivering complex projects on schedule and writing performant stored procedures and functions.

Technology Must-Haves

• Hands-on experience with C# and, where applicable, Python.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications and services.
• Modern relational databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• ASP.NET RESTful API design and Kafka or event-driven design.
• Modern web UI frameworks and libraries such as Angular or React.
• NoSQL databases and AI-native software development life cycles.

Technology Nice-to-Haves

• Helm or ArgoCD.
• Terraform.
• GitHub Actions.
