The software engineer will design and build customer-focused software using current technologies and test-driven development practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer challenges and use data to inform decisions.
- Design, test, code, and instrument new solutions.
- Use TDD, BDD, microservices, and Vertical Slice Architecture to improve engineering processes.
- Support live applications through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze systems and processes for bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Learn team practices, collaborate with peers, and contribute to continuous learning.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least three years of software engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- C# is a must-have; Python is listed as applicable.
- Passion for keeping up with modern technologies and design.
