About the Role

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Define architecture across Mobility services and resolve cross-team bottlenecks.
• Lead architecture reviews and workshops across engineering, product, security, compliance, operations, and partner teams.
• Establish reusable architectures, libraries, frameworks, and engineering patterns.
• Set standards for APIs, service contracts, versioning, compatibility, and integration patterns.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient fleet management and mobility payment systems.
• Lead security, compliance, threat modeling, API protection, authorization, PCI DSS, and auditability practices.
• Define observability, SLI/SLO, operational readiness, chaos testing, and resilience standards.
• Create reusable CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code patterns using Helm, Argo, Terraform, and secure cloud templates.
• Drive systemic fixes for defects, reliability issues, incidents, and operational toil.
• Mentor engineers, evaluate technology adoption, support responsible AI solutions, and maintain durable technical documentation.

Experience You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–12 years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership across multiple teams or systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, distributed systems, and complex problem solving.
• Experience designing internet-scale services with strong scalability, availability, security, reliability, and operability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in Java or C# backend development, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, ODATA, gRPC, and SQL systems.
• Experience with service boundaries, integration contracts, platform patterns, and architecture standards.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, Kafka, cloud-native architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with observability, SLI/SLO, incident management, resilience testing, and production readiness.
• Experience with secure API design, threat modeling, compliance by design, and regulated payment environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools and production-grade AI agents or distributed AI architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in card payments, fleet management, mobility, mobile development, platform initiatives, internal developer platforms, or production AI solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with vector databases and AI evaluation, safety, governance, and responsible AI principles is preferred.
