Development and testing
- Review requirements, architecture, and interface documentation; recommend requirements, designs, architectures, and technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement applications, modules, and services; translate user and business requirements into functional and technical designs.
- Maintain code using appropriate languages, frameworks, tools, and methodologies; participate in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve defects across development, testing, and production; design and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
Delivery and collaboration
- Collaborate with system architects, QA analysts, developers, project managers, and other technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, test plans, user guides, administrator guides, and release notes.
- Participate in technical, design, and management reviews; monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance; use version control and CI/CD processes.
- Ensure development complies with applicable security, privacy, and regulatory requirements; research technologies and contribute to process improvement.
Qualifications
- Completed education or training in software development, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related technical discipline.
- At least two years of demonstrated software development or programming experience and experience performing at least six listed core responsibilities.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications or components; analyzing requirements; and using one or more modern programming languages, frameworks, or tools.
- Experience resolving software defects and conducting unit, integration, and/or system testing; familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and experience with version control.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and software deployment processes.
