Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects across planning, initiation, options analysis, implementation, and in-service support; control scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, resources, and procurement.
• Manage integration requirements for hardware, software, software development, and systems engineering; track activities and dependencies.
• Develop project approval materials, including requirements, concepts of operations, scope, options analysis, technical considerations, risk mitigations, and cost estimates.
• Support procurement strategies, Statements of Work, and evaluation criteria; define objectives, budgets, team structures, roles, responsibilities, and terms of reference.
• Monitor project progress, prepare recurring status reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare project plans and supporting documentation, and use project-management tools to plan, monitor, track, and report project activities.
• Support projects involving integrated special operations environments and complex multi-domain capabilities.

Qualifications and experience

• Requires 5 years of project-management experience for intermediate level or 10 years for senior level, including at least 5 years managing at least five listed project-management disciplines.
• Requires 24 months within the past 60 months supporting projects involving at least three of hardware integration, software integration, software development, and systems engineering.
• Requires 24 months within the past 60 months providing requirements documentation, options analysis, risk management, and scope, cost, and schedule performance management.
• Requires 24 months within the past 60 months supporting systems for integrated special operations.
• Requires experience managing complex technical projects, competing priorities and dependencies, project documentation, and project-management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Requires strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret Secret (Level III) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance, VCRs, and Controlled Goods clearance; hire depends on successful clearance.

Compensation arrangements
