Role overview
The Soft Services Team Leader coordinates day-to-day cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, and hygiene services.
Team and service delivery
- Assign work to cleaners and support staff, monitor attendance and performance, and provide on-the-job guidance and training.
- Inspect areas to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards; ensure scheduled and special cleaning is completed.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, tools, and materials, and maintain stock of cleaning supplies.
Safety, issues, and reporting
- Ensure team compliance with HSE procedures and safe work practices; report maintenance, damage, and safety concerns.
- Handle client, tenant, and site complaints and coordinate corrective action.
- Prepare activity reports, checklists, and documentation, and coordinate with supervisors, Facilities Management, and other departments.
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience in soft services, cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities management.
- Cleaning-team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and hygiene standards.
- Good communication and team leadership skills; ability to organize manpower and allocate tasks.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills; ability to work under pressure and respond to operational needs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,300–3,500 per month.
