Role overview
The Hard Services Supervisor coordinates building maintenance activities and supervises technicians.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other building-system maintenance.
- Assign work and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed on time.
- Monitor MEP equipment, inspect sites, and identify defects and safety concerns.
- Ensure work follows company standards, procedures, HSE requirements, PPE rules, and safe practices.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Review work orders and completed jobs; maintain documentation and reporting.
- Monitor spare parts, tools, and materials; respond to emergencies and coordinate corrective action.
- Support the Facilities Manager with schedules, reports, and technical updates; communicate with tenants, clients, or building representatives as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or a related field.
- Previous facilities-management or building-maintenance experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general MEP systems and preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Leadership, communication, and team-supervision skills.
- Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, manage multiple activities, and respond to emergencies.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and facilities-management standards.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,800–4,000 per month.
