Civil Team Leader responsible for leading civil maintenance and repair work and coordinating a team of technicians and helpers.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise civil works including masonry, painting, carpentry, tiling, plastering, waterproofing, and minor structural repairs.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed on schedule and to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and procedures.
- Inspect sites, identify defects and maintenance needs, and monitor workmanship and proper equipment use.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, facilities teams, and other trades; report material shortages and additional needs.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed on time and respond to emergency maintenance issues.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, safety, and team performance; ensure proper PPE and safe practices.
- Maintain work records, completion reports, checklists, and site updates; leave work areas clean and organized.
Requirements
- Previous experience in civil maintenance, construction, or facilities management.
- Experience leading or supervising a civil maintenance team is preferred.
- Knowledge of masonry, painting, carpentry, tiling, plastering, waterproofing, and general civil works.
- Ability to read basic drawings and understand technical specifications.
- Leadership, communication, and manpower coordination skills.
- Knowledge of site safety and HSE procedures; ability to prepare basic reports and maintain records.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance activities.
Pay
- AED 3,300–3,500 per month.
