Role overview

Content and publishing

• Develop a social media strategy and content calendar aligned with the Chairman’s activities, priorities, and public profile.
• Create content to grow followers, reach, and meaningful engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and X.
• Accompany the Chairman on local and international work trips to capture photos, videos, meetings, and key moments, often with a quick turnaround.
• Film, edit, write, and publish platform-specific posts, Reels, Stories, and other content.
• Write English copy and coordinate Pashto translations with an in-house team member before publication.
• Manage content approvals and coordinate checks of names, titles, facts, and messaging with internal teams.

Campaigns, monitoring, and reporting

• Boost posts and plan, run, and optimize paid social campaigns, including audience targeting and budget management.
• Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and emerging conversations; respond or escalate as appropriate.
• Identify content opportunities and platform trends and strengthen the Chairman’s presence.
• Monitor impersonation, misinformation, and reputational issues and escalate concerns promptly.
• Track follower growth, reach, engagement, and paid campaign results and provide regular reports and recommendations.
• Organize content assets, maintain secure account access, and handle unpublished content and sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and growing social profiles for a senior executive, public figure, or prominent organization.
• Strong English writing, photography, videography, and short-form video editing skills.
• Hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience, including post boosting, audience targeting, and campaign reporting.
• Ability to work independently, make sound editorial decisions, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel and work outside standard office hours when required.
• Passport and travel eligibility allowing entry to multiple required destinations without advance visa applications.
• Professionalism, discretion, and ability to work closely with senior leadership.
