Join AWS's Commercial Sector Enterprise team in the UAE as a Senior Solutions Architect.
Advise major organizations in financial services, retail, travel and hospitality, and media on complex cloud and technology challenges.
Design architectures for cloud adoption, workload modernization, enterprise data and analytics, and production-scale generative AI and machine learning.
Shape cloud strategies around business outcomes such as faster time-to-market, new revenue, operational efficiency, resilience, and long-term transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Own enterprise customers' technical relationships end to end and assess business drivers, on-premises environments, and multi-cloud landscapes.
- Develop AWS technical cases, total cost of ownership analyses, migration strategies, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Build prototypes, proofs of concept, migration runbooks, landing-zone blueprints, and production-ready reference architectures.
- Help customers build generative AI and machine-learning solutions using AWS services.
- Partner with Account Managers and Business Development on account go-to-market strategies and customer adoption.
- Bring customer feedback to AWS service teams and advocate for service and feature improvements.
- Create and share workshops, immersion days, blog posts, code samples, reference architectures, and public talks.
- Mentor other Solutions Architects and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Basic qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 10+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- Experience architecting or deploying cloud or virtualization solutions for enterprise customers.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders or clients.
Preferred qualifications
- 10+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience architecting or operating AWS solutions and demonstrating technical breadth in AWS or cloud fundamentals.
- Experience designing landing zones, multi-account strategies, and governance frameworks for new adopters.
