Role overview
Accountable for project scope, cost, and schedule and delivery within contractual requirements and KONE objectives.
Leads project teams and coordinates delivery with customers and KONE teams.
Project delivery and governance
- Set project targets and plan adequate project resources and competencies.
- Integrate project planning and management with customers and KONE teams.
- Implement project gates, reviews, and governance, including steering meetings as suited to project complexity.
- Manage project risks and upsides through identification, mitigation, escalation, recovery actions, and variation-selling opportunities.
Customer, finance, and handover
- Communicate with customers throughout the project, understand their needs and objectives, and foster trust.
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, cash flow, and revenue.
- Drive Sales-to-Operations handover quality, customer handover, and project closeout.
Safety, resources, and practices
- Promote safety awareness among employees and subcontractors and follow customer and KONE workplace safety requirements.
- Plan installation and tester resources with the relevant resource manager.
- Promote lean practices at work.

- Leadership and collaboration skills to align the project team and meet customer expectations.
- Capability to set project targets and plan sufficient resourcing and competencies.
- Ability to identify, mitigate, escalate, and recover from project risks, while identifying upsides.
- Financial planning, forecasting, cash flow, and revenue-management capability.
- Awareness of employee, subcontractor, customer, and KONE workplace safety requirements.
