Experienced Site Engineer - Infrastructure role overseeing day-to-day site activities for infrastructure construction projects.
Work includes roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and other civil infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Supervise site work against approved drawings, specifications, schedules, designs, quality standards, HSE procedures, and authority requirements.
- Manage roadworks, earthworks, excavation, backfilling, grading, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and wet and dry utilities.
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants, clients, surveyors, and QA/QC engineers; monitor labor, equipment, materials, and milestones.
- Review shop and IFC drawings, method statements, and specifications; coordinate setting out, inspections, approvals, and site observations.
- Resolve technical issues, maintain site records and reports, monitor schedule risks, and coordinate utility testing and commissioning where applicable.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant infrastructure construction experience.
- Hands-on experience with roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply, utilities, site execution, subcontractors, consultants, and quality inspections.
- Knowledge of drawings, specifications, method statements, and material approvals; ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements is preferred.
