Site Engineer role for electrical installation on a 380kV substation project.
Supervise and coordinate installation while ensuring compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, quality requirements, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of GIS equipment, power transformers, switchgear, control and protection systems, and cable works.
- Ensure construction complies with SEC specifications, approved IFC drawings, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, testing, and commissioning teams.
- Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare site reports, inspections, and work completion records.
- Support testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities.
Requirements and preferences
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of EHV/HV substation project experience.
- 380kV project experience and experience on SEC projects are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of substation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Familiarity with SEC standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- SEC- or client-approved candidates are preferred.
