Experienced Site Engineer - Civil Execution for Saudi Electricity Company substation projects.
The role supervises and executes civil construction for GIS substations in compliance with project specifications, SEC standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise civil works for 380kV substation projects.
- Manage foundations, cable trenches, control buildings, boundary walls, roads, and drainage construction.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Ensure work complies with SEC standards, approved drawings, QA/QC requirements, and HSE regulations.
- Monitor site progress; prepare daily and weekly reports; support inspections and RFIs.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in substation civil construction projects.
- Mandatory experience on Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects.
- Strong knowledge of GIS substations, civil execution, and SEC standards.
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities effectively.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred candidate profile
- EPC substation project experience within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects is preferred.
- A track record of delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule is preferred.
- Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable iqama is an added advantage.
