Experienced Site Engineer - Civil Execution for Saudi Electricity Company substation projects.
The role involves civil construction execution for 380kV GIS substations and compliance with specifications, SEC standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, and schedules.
Civil construction delivery
- Execute and supervise civil works for 380kV substation projects.
- Manage foundations, cable trenches, control buildings, boundary walls, roads, and drainage works.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, QA/QC requirements, HSE regulations, and project schedules.
- Monitor site progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, and support inspections and RFIs.
Required qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in substation civil construction projects.
- Mandatory experience on Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects.
- Strong knowledge of GIS substations, civil execution, and SEC standards.
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities effectively.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred profile
- EPC substation project experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects is preferred.
- A strong record of safe, on-budget, on-schedule delivery is preferred.
- Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable iqama is an added advantage.
