The engineer supervises daily site operations, coordinates subcontractors, maintains quality, and supports schedule adherence.
The role links design plans with site execution and reports to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities to meet schedules, structural specifications, and safety standards.
- Verify levels, alignments, and positions using surveying instruments and approved plans.
- Prepare and raise inspection requests for consultant approval of concrete, reinforcement, and structural work.
- Direct subcontractors, foremen, and site labor to support productivity and reduce material waste.
- Enforce Dubai Municipality and MOHRE HSE guidelines, summer midday-break rules, and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain daily site logs, track deliveries, flag design discrepancies, and report progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; UAE Ministry of Education equivalency is a plus.
- 3 to 6 years of UAE site-execution experience in commercial, residential, or high-rise projects.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and Dubai Civil Defence procedures.
- Ability to interpret complex CAD drawings, MEP coordination layouts, and structural details.
- Hands-on Total Station or Auto Level experience is required.
- Dubai Municipality card or Society of Engineers membership is strongly preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license and fluent spoken and written English are required.
- Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an advantage.
