MIRA Construction seeks a Plumbing Engineer for construction projects.
The role designs, coordinates, and supervises plumbing systems and ensures compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and review water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewage disposal systems.
- Prepare detailed plumbing shop drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate plumbing systems with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP engineers.
- Inspect sites to ensure plumbing installations meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry practices.
- Resolve technical issues during construction.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers on materials and equipment.
- Prepare plumbing reports and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of plumbing design and engineering experience on UAE construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations, including Dubai Municipality standards and NFPA.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for plumbing design.
- Experience with plumbing calculation software and hydraulic modeling is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
