Join a construction team as an HVAC Site Engineer responsible for HVAC design, installation, and maintenance across construction projects.
Work with project teams to deliver HVAC solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, calculate, and specify HVAC systems to meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, and technical documentation using BIM and CAD software.
- Inspect sites and supervise HVAC equipment installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of HVAC engineering experience; UAE construction experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, design principles, and standards including ASHRAE and SMACNA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
