Site and installation responsibilities
- Review architectural, civil, and shop drawings for wooden doors, frames, and associated works.
- Verify door dimensions, openings, levels, alignment, and site conditions before installation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues.
- Supervise installation of wooden doors, frames, architraves, ironmongery, and related accessories.
- Inspect delivered materials for compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and material submittals.
- Monitor workmanship against project quality standards and manufacturer requirements.
Documentation, quality, and handover
- Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate door schedules and verify door type, size, finish, hardware, and fire-rating requirements.
- Identify site discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Conduct inspections and prepare snagging or punch-list reports before handover.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate installation activities with the construction schedule.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable building codes and standards.
- Maintain records of inspections, approvals, measurements, and installation progress.
- Assist with quantity take-offs, measurements, variations, and subcontractor work verification.
- Coordinate with the client or consultant during inspections, approvals, and final handover.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in construction, architectural finishes, doors, joinery, or fit-out works.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and site inspection procedures.
- Ability to read architectural drawings, door schedules, and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of wooden door installation, frames, finishes, and hardware is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, fire-rating requirements, and quality standards is an advantage.

Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 2,000–AED 5,000 per month.
