Project Engineer/ Cordinator

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and door schedules, and coordinate shop drawings and material submissions.
• Follow up approvals for drawings, samples, finishes, hardware, and mock-ups.
• Verify site measurements and opening dimensions before production.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor deadlines, deliveries, installations, inspections, and approvals.
• Maintain records of drawings, correspondence, measurements, variations, approvals, and project documents.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in wooden doors, joinery, interior fit-out, carpentry, or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, project coordination, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read architectural drawings, door schedules, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication, email writing, client communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites as required.

Preferred and Additional Skills

• Knowledge of wooden doors, frames, finishes, hardware, and installation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• UAE/GCC project experience and a UAE driving license are preferred.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000–AED 3,500 per month.

Work Location

• Work is conducted in person with regular visits to client and construction sites.
