Experienced Site Architect role involving design consultancy, construction supervision, and BIM coordination.
Projects include steel structure buildings, high-rise developments, and hospitality projects, from shell and core through completion.
Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings and coordinate with site engineers and contractors to monitor progress.
- Resolve technical design and construction issues; manage design and contract documentation against specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys, and oversee quality assurance.
- Support BIM model development, clash detection, query resolution, and documentation standards.
- Maintain BIM templates, libraries, and workflows; coordinate design-team tasks and deliverables.
- Assist with technical interviews for site department recruitment.
- Document lessons learned and share technical knowledge and industry practices.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Building Regulations and applicable building codes.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 6 recent years in the UAE.
- Experience with a reputable architectural or design consultancy is mandatory.
- Proven steel structure, high-rise, and hospitality project experience, including shell and core through completion.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Building Regulations, building codes, construction practices, and contract documentation.
- Understand design development, contract documentation, construction, and project completion stages.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
- Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; able to work across project teams.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 20,000–23,000 per month.
