Procurement Officer for interior fit-out projects, responsible for sourcing materials and supporting timely, cost-effective project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement for joinery, flooring, ceilings, finishes, hardware, and MEP materials.
- Source and evaluate UAE suppliers and subcontractors; review quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare comparison sheets.
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate deliveries with project schedules and material requirements.
- Monitor availability, lead times, and delivery schedules; verify specifications, quality, and quantities.
- Maintain supplier relationships, procurement records, databases, and documentation.
- Identify cost savings while maintaining quality standards and project budgets.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of UAE procurement experience; interior fit-out or construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, market rates, and material availability.
- Experience sourcing interior finishes, joinery, flooring, ceilings, hardware, and MEP materials.
- Good negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills; able to manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay is AED 8,000–10,000 per month; salary depends on experience and skills.
- Company employment visa, medical insurance, and other applicable benefits under company policy and UAE labour law.
