Shop Manager role for Massimo Dutti with responsibility for retail sales, customer service, and shop operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers, address needs and complaints, and build customer loyalty.
- Manage receiving, shipments, stock counts, inventory movements, transfers, damaged items, and returns.
- Analyze sales and product availability, identify replenishment needs, place orders, and maximize sales and sellout.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity and provide feedback.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate staff; prepare schedules and communicate sales plans and targets.
- Update commercial and operational information and requests on company platforms.
- Manage the annual budget, monitor spending, control costs, and report variances.
- Maintain brand standards, cleanliness, displays, and shop upkeep, including windows, cash area, and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in a managerial role.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office.
- Previous industry or retail experience is a major plus.
- The listed competency levels include developing and motivating others and cultural awareness at level 4; decision making, commercial understanding, analytical thinking, customer focus, and driving and achieving results at level 3.
