Supervise store operations to deliver customer service, maximize sales and profitability, manage inventory and maintenance, and uphold the shop’s brand image.
Responsibilities
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitors; assist customers and resolve complaints to maintain service quality and loyalty.
- Keep store licenses, certificates, and employee documents current and compliant.
- Manage receiving and inventory, including cycle counts, stock movements, transfers, damaged goods, and shrinkage.
- Analyze sales and product performance, identify assortment gaps, coordinate replenishment, and place accurate orders.
- Schedule staff around budgeted hours, traffic, targets, events, and operational needs; communicate plans and set team targets.
- Update operational and commercial information on company platforms; manage the budget, control costs, and report variances.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, displays, windows, registers, stock rooms, and brand standards.
- Report on KPIs, sales, inventory, and team productivity.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team; conduct daily Japanese meetings.
- For Multimedia & Lifestyle shops, monitor category sales and trends, optimize assortment, and stay current with technology, lifestyle, music, and literature developments.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic fluency is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Four to six years of retail or similar experience.
- Two years of managerial experience.
