Oversee distribution and delivery of products in assigned areas while ensuring compliance with brand standards.
Planning and analysis
- Contribute to regional budget planning and submit sales forecasts for upcoming ranges before scheduled market dates.
- Plan product ranges and collaborate with merchandisers on sales and stock analysis.
- Analyze previous Open-to-Buy performance and recommend actions to improve seasonal sales.
- Prepare post-season performance analysis from concept and territory levels down to department, class, subclass, and item specifics.
Portfolio, stock, and pricing
- Source new brands and ranges, review existing ones, keep the portfolio relevant and profitable, and secure exclusive brands.
- Manage stock levels against seasonal forecasts and product flow; oversee commercial calendar planning and stock availability.
- Assist with brand pricing strategy using comparative reports and compare seasonal prices with competitors.
- Identify best and slow sellers and coordinate allocation or relocation between stores to improve stock rotation.
Assortment and store planning
- Coordinate product-mix forecasts and assess floor density and linear footage to optimize sales.
- Propose seasonal strategies for sales, pricing, suppliers, brands, sizes, colors, and assortment with buyers, informed by past performance and future trends.
- Prepare store grading at class and subclass levels, recommending range breadth, depth, and order quantities for different store sizes.
- Collaborate with merchandisers or retail planning on seasonal in-store promotions and markdowns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Four to six years of experience in fashion retail or a similar role.
- Purchasing experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English; French fluency is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
