About the role
The Service Operations Supervisor – HVAC is based in Riyadh and oversees field service operations, supports technicians, and ensures safe, efficient, high-quality service delivery.
The role supports manpower and job planning, technician development, field escalations, and service KPI achievement.
How you will make an impact
- Resolve field escalations and provide technical support to technicians, working with the BOM when required.
- Evaluate technician performance through site visits, mentoring, and technical coaching; plan and assign daily and weekly jobs.
- Monitor pending jobs, service tickets, and parts; escalate delays to help ensure timely completion.
- Audit service vehicles, tools, grooming, uniforms, PPE, safety compliance, licenses, and Iqama.
- Support onboarding of new technicians and conduct performance reviews with the BOM.
- Provide VRV/DX and Applied systems expertise across installation, equipment selection, drawings, troubleshooting, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
- Ensure Daikin installation and commissioning standards are followed, including piping, wiring, pressure testing, airflow, ducting, settings, and start-up.
- Attend customer, consultant, and subcontractor site meetings for technical or service escalations; prepare site reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- Provide on-site and classroom training on installation, commissioning, and service procedures.
- Drive service KPIs including Utilization, WIP, Efficiency, Same-Day Dispatch Rate, 3-Day Completion Rate, and First Time-Fix Rate.
What you need to succeed
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Technician and at least 5 years of HVAC experience.
- Diploma or certificate in air conditioning, refrigeration, or a related field; strong hands-on knowledge of VRV/DX or Applied systems.
- Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; leadership and communication skills.
- Proven service operations and KPI management experience; knowledge of Daikin procedures for VRV/DX/Applied systems.
- Good written and spoken English and a valid local driving license.
- Experience with Daikin or an equivalent Japanese/American HVAC manufacturer is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
