About the role

Project launch and planning

• Validate scope, specifications, commercial terms, and contractual obligations received from Sales; identify risks, assumptions, constraints, and mitigations.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and establish objectives, success criteria, and communication protocols.
• Develop execution plans for schedules, resources, procurement, cash flow, and cost baselines.
• Coordinate engineering, design, procurement, and logistics teams; review technical submittals, method statements, and compliance documents.

Execution and control

• Lead site execution of chiller, VRV, retrofit, and turnkey HVAC projects; manage subcontractors and adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
• Ensure HSE compliance and coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent delays.
• Track schedules and milestones, monitor cost performance and changes, report progress and forecasts, and take corrective or preventive action.

Financial oversight

• Own project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin protection.
• Manage payments, variations, and claims in line with contract and profitability targets.

Commissioning and close-out

• Oversee HVAC testing and commissioning and confirm systems meet design intent, operating performance, and client requirements.
• Lead final inspections, snag closure, stakeholder approvals, and complete handover documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties.
• Secure client acceptance, close projects, conduct performance and financial reviews, capture lessons learned, and support service teams during the defect liability period.
• Strengthen client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Experience and technical qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of HVAC project execution experience, with strong exposure to chillers and VRV systems.
• Experience delivering turnkey HVAC projects in KSA or GCC markets.
• Strong HVAC knowledge, particularly VRV technologies and central plant solutions.
• Knowledge of project management frameworks such as PMI principles and execution tools.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Financial acumen and experience in cost control, margin management, and contract administration.
• Technical analysis and problem-solving skills for site execution.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness of costs, material usage, and resource utilization; commitment to quality, compliance, and HSE standards.
• Hands-on experience with progress reporting, document preparation, and meeting support.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
