Based in Riyadh, the role installs, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs HVAC systems to support reliable operation and customer satisfaction.
The technician performs service activities independently at customer sites and coordinates with supervisors and service teams to meet contractual SLAs and operational targets.
Service and technical work
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-cooled and centrifugal chillers, VRV and DX systems, ammonia industrial refrigeration plants, and commercial refrigeration.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control faults; support commissioning, operation, and maintenance to OEM standards.
- Identify root causes, prevent repeat breakdowns, optimize performance through servicing and adjustments, and escalate complex issues when needed.
Customers, reporting, and safety
- Represent the service team on site, explain service activities and findings, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Complete reports, checklists, and job documentation; record system data, faults, and actions; coordinate with supervisors, planners, and spare-parts teams.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit systems; handle tools, equipment, and refrigerants safely.
- Keep product and service knowledge current, participate in training, and apply learning in field activities.
What you need to succeed
- Technical Diploma (ITI, Mechanical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of hands-on HVAC service experience, including industrial refrigeration installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills; basic HVAC controls knowledge and schematic-reading ability.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites; good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Familiarity with manual or digital service reporting tools and commitment to safety and quality standards.
