- Provide first line troubleshooting to identify root causes of problems on standalone and connected products
- Achieve high first time fix rate and minimum recalls with cost effective use of labor and parts
- Report labor and parts investment and counter readings using CAESAR coding structure
- Optimize stock inventory and rotation, balancing against return to fit visits
- Signal commercial opportunities to sales and marketing using OnSite InSight
- Contribute to ongoing development of the team and overall service performance
- Liaise and report back to relevant account manager on customer issues
- Identify super users and provide appropriate training on Canon products and software
Requirements
- Ability to provide first line troubleshooting on standalone and connected products
- Experience achieving high first time fix rate and minimum recalls
- Proficiency in reporting labor and parts investment using CAESAR coding structure
- Ability to optimize stock inventory and balance against return to fit visits

Role Overview
- As a Service Engineer, you will provide cost effective maintenance and optimize technical performance of hardware products.
- Includes maintenance and upgrading of firmware and product related applications via remote technical support using Canon remote assistance tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first line troubleshooting on standalone and connected products.
- Achieve high first time fix rate and minimum recalls with cost effective use of labor and parts.
- Report labor and parts investment and counter readings using CAESAR coding structure.
- Optimize stock inventory and rotation, balancing against return to fit visits.
- Signal commercial opportunities to sales and marketing using OnSite InSight.
- Contribute to ongoing development of the team and overall service performance.
- Fully understand customer requirements to support solution business strategy.
- Liaise and report back to relevant account manager on customer issues.

- Look for opportunities to develop other areas of the client's business and liaise with account manager.
