Job Brief

Preventive Maintenance

• Develop and implement a regular preventive maintenance plan in accordance with Health Authority and Quality Control policies and regulations.
• Ensure that all machines undergo scheduled preventive maintenance.

Machine Installation

• Install products for which the engineer is trained.
• Arrange pre-installation requirements for ordered instruments, including free commitments or local supplies.
• Ensure proper machine installation to prevent customer issues.

Machine Breakdowns

• Perform timely corrective action in response to equipment breakdown calls.
• Coordinate prompt delivery of received spare parts.

Sales and Customer Support

• Promote and sell service contracts for managed products.
• Foster strong customer relationships and meet the annual revenue target.
• Support laboratory technicians with application-related tasks as required.
• Collaborate with Sales to provide technical information and coordinate pre-installation site visits.
• Share relevant sales leads or information with the Sales team.

Training and Administration

• Participate in training sessions as scheduled or required.
• Submit weekly reports to the line manager.
• Assist the service coordinator with Health Authority and Quality Control documentation for new installations.
• Maintain and update the instrument database.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree.
• Have hands-on experience with ophthalmology equipment and related technologies.
• Have strong IT troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment, along with servicing, maintenance, and time management skills.
• Have at least three years of experience.
• Ophthalmology experience is mandatory.
