Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, finishes, doors, windows, ceilings, partitions, and other architectural details.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and project requirements; coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, and ELV disciplines.
• Identify discrepancies and coordination issues and assist in resolving them.
• Prepare drawings for consultant submission, review, and approval; incorporate comments and manage revisions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Produce accurate as-built drawings from actual site conditions.
• Review and guide junior draftsmen's work when required.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of relevant architectural drafting experience and proven large-scale construction project experience.
• Excellent AutoCAD knowledge and architectural construction-detailing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, and architectural details.
• Understanding of architectural materials, construction methods, and site execution.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills; ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; the posting separately states Diploma (Required).
• Strong UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Revit/BIM experience is highly preferred.

Preferred project experience

• High-rise buildings, large residential developments, commercial buildings, hotels, mixed-use developments, and major master developments are valued.
• Candidates need hands-on experience producing construction-ready drawings for major projects; basic AutoCAD drafting or small residential project experience alone is not considered sufficient.

Pay

• The description lists AED 8,000–13,000 per hour; the structured salary field lists AED 8,000 per month.
