Key responsibilities
- Receive and inspect construction materials against purchase orders, verify quantities and damage, and generate Goods Receipt Notes.
- Maintain ERP and bin-card inventory records, conduct physical stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Issue materials and tools to site teams against approved Material Request Forms.
- Track tools and equipment issued to workers and ensure they are returned in good condition.
- Store materials to manufacturer specifications to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Enforce HSE rules, keep the store clean, organized, and secure, and store hazardous materials properly.
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and foremen to monitor usage and prevent shortages.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a Civil Storekeeper in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil materials, including structural steel, cement, aggregates, and formwork, and their storage requirements.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail; experience with GRNs, MRFs, and inventory audits.
- Experience with major developers such as Aldar, Musanada, or Emaar is a major advantage.
Pay
- AED 2,500–4,000 per month.
