Responsible for accurate daily manpower attendance, timesheets, and workforce deployment coordination for a large construction project.
The role handles timekeeping for more than 300 workers, including outsourced labor, and coordinates across departments.
Timekeeping and reporting
- Record attendance, working hours, overtime, and shifts for site staff and subcontractors; verify site headcounts against electronic logs.
- Prepare payroll attendance summaries, overtime sheets, and leave reports; maintain timekeeping records and filing systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly manpower and equipment utilization reports; investigate discrepancies with site access logs.
- Assign labor hours to cost codes or work orders for project accounting when applicable.
Workforce coordination and compliance
- Coordinate workforce deployment, mobilization, and demobilization with Transportation and HR departments.
- Manage outsourced labor suppliers' timesheets for at least 300 workers, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.
Experience and skills
- Proven construction-company timekeeping experience managing at least 300 workers, including outsourced labor.
- Strong Excel tracking, accurate data entry, and attention to detail.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for working with site crews, suppliers, HR, and transportation teams.
- Familiarity with biometric or facial-recognition timekeeping systems is advantageous.
- Experience reporting to an HR manager remotely is described as helpful.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 3,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person at a construction site office.
