Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop customer-focused IT solutions that are robust, high quality, and aligned with corporate standards and technical strategy.
• Ensure architecture meets service availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Develop project solution architectures to enterprise standards and support technology advancements and adoption.
• Collaborate with IT teams to configure technology monitoring and Level 1 and Level 2 incidents within EMS.
• Guide project and technology managers on solution definition, technical design, and development of in-house solutions.
• Resolve incidents within service levels, analyse problems, manage changes, and ensure solutions meet architecture and security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and data catalogues, including designs, configurations, support procedures, operations manuals, and deployment architecture.
• Manage end-of-life replacement of equipment and software in line with standards and technology initiatives.
• Translate process and enhancement specifications into programs using enterprise tools, methods, and languages.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a related IT engineering role.

Knowledge and skills

• Expertise in endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Entra ID.
• Skills across Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android, and rugged devices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, endpoint security, Active Directory, and Conditional Access.
• Skills in application deployment, patching, compliance, and device lifecycle management.
• Experience with enterprise printing and printer estate management.
