Contracts Officer in the Emirates Group Security Business Support team, providing administrative support for department business contracts.
The role supports contract accuracy, legal and financial soundness, organizational alignment, operational performance, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate contracts and client, vendor, and supplier financial information; act as the first contact for contracting concerns across business divisions.
- Maintain a dashboard of contract information, expiry dates, key performance indicators, and financial details for management.
- Maintain an accurate, complete, current contract database and control contract template versions.
- Ensure contracts align with Emirates Group standards; provide regular and ad hoc status reports with inconsistencies and recommendations.
- Conduct business audits and liaise with Legal, Finance, Facilities, and other stakeholders on agreement renewals or terminations.
- Respond to client requests and internal stakeholder clarification queries, with guidance from the Business Support Specialist.
- Implement robust storage and auditing processes for signed commercial and service contracts.
Qualifications and experience
- 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement or contract management.
- Experience in finance or facility management.
- Strong contract management skills, including contract creation and review and ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
