A multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in architecture, interior design, and building services engineering seeks a Senior Structural Designer to lead its Structural Engineering Department.
The role is listed in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design for RCC and steel buildings from concept through detailed design.
- Perform structural analysis and modelling using ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
- Review structural drawings, design calculations, technical reports, and engineering deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with ACI, BS, ASCE 7, and relevant local authority regulations.
- Coordinate design integration with architectural and MEP teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the structural engineering team; guide junior engineers’ design work.
- Oversee technical decisions, design quality, project delivery, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in structural design consultancy.
- Strong expertise in complex building structures, including RCC and steel.
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000; working knowledge of Revit.
- Strong knowledge of international structural design codes and standards.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to remain hands-on in technical design and analysis.
