Clinical Instructor / Academic Coordinator for undergraduate medical education in Ajman.
The role combines clinical skills teaching, examination coordination, student administration, and academic support.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate clinical skills laboratory sessions and support undergraduate medical students academically.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory manuals, and instructional resources.
- Coordinate written, practical, and clinical examinations, including Progress Tests and the IFOM Examination.
- Manage exam schedules, registrations, invigilation, results, and documentation; support admissions, entrance exams, and interviews.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, assessment documents, and reports; coordinate schedules, workshops, orientations, and faculty development.
- Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with faculty and administrators to support academic quality and institutional requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution and completed internship are mandatory.
- Clinical teaching, medical education, or clinical skills instruction experience is an advantage.
- Examination coordination, academic administration, or student assessment experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and time-management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities accurately and maintain confidentiality.
